There are few better places in Australia than Coffs Harbour, perfectly located half way between Sydney and Brisbane. The weather is sensational and the beaches are better. It has its own airport and now it has its own Let’s Go Motorhome depot!
So here is our recommendation. Fly into Coffs and head straight to our Depot at Watson’s Caravans to pick up your motorhome or campervan. Then head on down to Discovery Parks at Emerald Beach (you will need to book for peak times, it is extremely popular).
This Park is just a short walk through the beach front reserve to one of the best beaches in the region and is just a short walk to the surf beach. Fiddamans Creek runs adjacent to the Park also, so kayaking and canoeing is an option.
The Park also has “Jungle Jive”, an indoor softplay centre, a “Super Soaker” water park and a heated pool. As if that is not enough, there is also pedal kart hire, a jumping pillow, a games room and half court basketball and tennis courts.
The kids will love the Kids Club and the wide range of activities. You will love the quiet time you will get while the kids are at Kids Club!
You can also take the Solitary Islands Coastal Walk and see magnificent golden beaches, rocky headlands and lush rainforest. If you are lucky and from late May, you may also catch the migration of thousands of humpback whales.
